Recently, Michael Savage indicated that he would stop calling the Radical Muslims "IslamoFascists" and starting calling them "IslamoMarxists" becuase it now appears their political culture and tactics are more Marxist than Fascist.

Do you think that these radicals are more Fascist or Marxist? Explain your thoughts.

I don't understand Mr Savage's thinking. Radical Islam believes all men should live under the rule of Muslim law. Not just in their religous worship but also in their civil and criminal law systems. My understanding of their system of beliefs lends me to believe that this would take away many personal freedoms and rights and deliver much power into the hands of a few religous leaders. This sounds like Fascisim to me.

Actually Islam has been struggling with this itself for a long time. The Koran teaches charity and giving (thus many Imans hate Capitolism with its taking advantage of workers) but many also hate Marx for his atheistic beliefs.
In truth, economically, Islam is neither. It addresses economic systems as much as Jesus or the Torah (which is only very lightly), so macroeconomics aren't applicable (in fact, macroeconomics where hardly thought of in the times these books were written).

Hi. In my opinion, any attempt to simply label the Islamic militants (or any group striving for world domination) misses the point. When a small group controls a large group through peer pressure and/or harsh punishment, that is not in line with freedom. It does not matter what you CALL it, if you are free then you would not like their goals.

The most applicable term is Islamic Murderers. Whether they are Fascist or Marxist is secondary.

Their goal is to prove Islam is a religion of peace even if they have to kill every non-Islamic man, woman, and child to do it.

It is a religion not a political creed.
If we started to define religions as politics, then christianity would undoubtedly be marxist, and Judhaism Fascist. I do not mean to offend either faith by pointing this out.

Radical Islam seems more theocratic-bent, so totalitarian seems the most fitting label for the political skew..
