where is the oil drain?

Look under the car and locate the oil pan. There will be a plug on it. The filter will be connected to the block. I would really reccommend that you take your car to a place that changes oil for $19.95. Since it is foreign they may charge you a little more, but at least you will get it done right and they also check all the other fluids and grease what needs to be greased. I doubt you can do it yourself as cheaply.

The drain is on the bottom of the oil pan. If you can't figure out the drain plug, take it in for service.

My '92 520 has an M50 engine and the filter is on the top front of the engine in the oil filter housing. It can leak if not done properly.

Should be right on the oil pan on the vehicle. If you can't find it, I would take it to an oil change place!
