Indeed they do. An elementary teacher friend of mine tells me that it is an incredible memory tool for kids but she can't use it because of the war theme.

Toys R Us now has it on sale for $6.99, along with Sorry, Monopoly, Clue, Operation, Twister and Connect Four. My kids, (oldest is 35), still have their Battleship game from when they were small.
