With no power to the fuel pump relay, you have no power to the fuel pump, which means no fuel. You can crank all day, it won't start. Start tracing back from the relay towards the fuse block. In between where you have power and where you don't have power will be the spot where the problem lies.

Depends on what kind of vehicle you have. if and only if you do not have power to your fuel pump relay and fuse it could be your auto shut down relay bad(ASD) or since it cranks you can check to see if you have spark. Depending on the vehicle, if a crank or cam sensor is out(not reading properly) it can shut down either spark or fuel depending on model. Also on some pickups and blazers they recomend replacing a section of the wiring harness with a fuel pump meaning that the wiring does go bad

Probably a fuse! Might have either one in the fuse panel or a direct inline fuse! Otherwise, you need to look for broken wire or disconnected wire some place. Might want to check fuel pump also- could be fried and won't work electricity or not!

yeah even as think ofyou've got a nasty gasoline pump being it a chevy you probable enable it get less than a million/4 a tank a time or 2 and for some reason chevy gasoline pumps are undesirable about going out in the journey that they arent thoroughly submerged in gasoline yet otherwise to analyze is to disconnect gasoline clear out so that you've an open line and warm cord the gasoline pump to be certain even if it really is pumping or no longer yet i owuld say from what you describe that the pump is undesirable and also you opt to drop the tank and replace it

There is a heavy wire that also comes off of your battery. If you have a fusible link it will be in that line. It has nothing to do with cranking your engine. It is there to supply the necessary wiring to the rest of your car.

hook up a toggle switch between the relay wire and the battery and see if it will start, that way you got constant power to the relay when you throw the switch.
