We just refinanced and closed on Tuesday night - we are expecting money back along with our bills to be paid. What is the average time that it takes to receive the money? It seems to me it was about a week the last time we did this, but I wasn't sure if every time was different.

If it was your primary residence that you closed on you have three days (not including the day you signed) to change your mind, so Monday is the soonest it could be available. But call the lender or broker and/or closing agent to find out. Some places get very busy at the end of the month and you want to make sure they don't delay your money by needing some last minute thing. (hey, it happens)

three days after closing because you have 3 days to rescind the contract. Your funds should be available on Monday.
