WASHINGTON, D.C.—“I’m a war president,” declared George W. Bush in a TV interview at the White House aired February 8 on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday morning show. “I make decisions here in the Oval Office on foreign policy matters with war on my mind,” he continued. “And the American people need to know they got a president who sees the world the way it is.”
He also said before "I am the decider!"

It seems to be that no one is communist here. Although it also seems that Bush would rather be the dictator and not the President.

Dang Girl, at least we have reasons for calling the Bush Administration Nazis and Fascists. YOU PEOPLE, on the other hand, have no reason to call us communists. Welfare programs can heal the financial wounds of so many citizens. It's a whole lot better than living in this society Bush has created, where less money is in the pockets of the average middle-class citizen.

Watch Bill Clinton's interview, or look at everything John Bolton said. We are pissed off that a foreigner would come to the UN and say this about the President. We do not reserve the right of free speech to evil leaders such as Chavez.
And, to insinuate that Chavez is communist is a stupid assertion.

Because apparently no conservatives have ever studied political concepts in depth as is evidenced by our friend Bill here equating welfare programs and taxes with communism. If it were communism you wouldn't have taxes since you wouldn't ever see your money, honey.

I certainly hope you or your loved ones never falls prey to disability, old age or unemployment, Billy- Boy.

And Ironduke8, I would say that practising free speech and question the competency of authority are fundamental to being an American and supporting American Values.

If caring for the well being of the members of the community and wanting to pitch in my fair share when I have more than others is communist, then sign me up and call me Red.

oh goody another conspiracy theorist
To answer your question damnocrats embraced chicken chavez

Which democrats???? Frankly, I was appalled by the statements made by Chavez. But more than that, embarrassed. Admittedly Chavez is a nut ball, but how is our country doing when our president is referred to as El Diablo and the statement actually merits applause by other world leaders at a UN session! It's not a conspiracy theory that the Dem's are spouting, we are simply masters of the obvious. Take a good hard look in the mirror kids. This isn't a partisan issue, the President is frankly an embarrassment. I may be a Dem, but my mom (I love her anyway) is a die-hard right wing god fearing republican that voted for Bush, and continues daily to be alarmed by his actions, and she is not alone.
To answer the question
Why do conservatives mindlessly copy each other, saying liberals and Democrats are communist?

Because Ignorance is Bliss.

Mostly because they simply repeat what they hear and have never looked up all the meanings of the forms of government they load with nasty innuendos. The most radical liberals of all were probably our esteemed forefathers who went against the established ruling government of England. One man. one vote, can you imagine the rebellion? No religious preference? Right to bear arms, criticize the government, be presented with the reason for arrest, these were all treasonous ideas in their day. Yep, just a bunch of flaming liberals, and thank heaven for it.
It does seem like a basic course in things like the separation of the three branches of government and a refresher in the constitutional limits of the office of the presidency and executive privilege are in order with the present holder of the office.

Conservatives are intelligent and do not mindlessly copy each other. The fact that liberals lean towards communism and socialism is reaily apparent even to the most feeble of minds. Is it any wonder then that conservatives have a common opinion of liberals?

Liberals have no solutions: they have only criticisms. They are a sorry lot that refuse to unite with republicans to help the USA. All they want to do is be like you and bash Bush. Why not try being an American and support our country?

Last time I looked communism has lost its appeal in the world. For decades communism was the favorite tool of the Republican Party who can not forget Senator Joseph McCarthy and his bashing of those who he suspected of being communists. Today if you do not support the polices of Bush and the Republicans we are called commies. Kill a commie for Jesus. Better dead than Red.

Just because he is DECISIVE, does not make him a dictator.
No one else wants to make the truly tough decisions so he HAS to that is his JOB!!! How does that make him a dictator?

Definition of DICTATOR:
A ruler with absolute power and authority, especially one who exercises this power and authority tyrannically
A ruler who is not restricted by a constitution, laws or any opposition.

As much as some would like to fit Bush into this box, factually he cannot be.....
Therefore throwing the term 'dictator' around is merely an insult, NOT a true or relevant fact of how things actually are.

Elysialaw: Bill said MORE taxes, obviously refering to the fact that libs want to pick our pockets every chance they get! We republicans don't mind paying our fair share, we want to support the best country on Earth! As for you caring about the well being....We care for those less fortunate as well, it's called charity. We DON'T subscribe to the attitude that the government has the right to take our hard earned money and distribute it as they see fit, usually to keep the oppressed down so they will continue to get elected!

There could be some benefits to his dictatorship. Providing he kept his convictions, it would be a good way to get rid of a lot of moral corruption today.

I think conservatives copy each other because just like anyone else, it's too difficult for them to think for themselves. Conservatives like Sean Hannity, Rush, Michael Savage, ect., say things that the general conservative thinks is good and they adopt it as their own belief because it comes from someone who they see is a good conservative as well. They don't take time to research the idea. They are too caught up with trying to win this most crucial war against liberalism that is going to destroy America if they don't do something about it. So conservatives are really energized about the culture today because they know what's at stake.
