No, they are not magical, and YES they exist you moron. A crystal is just a freaking mineral. Ever heard your mom yelling at you to be "careful" with certain china because it was CRYSTAL? You can easily buy crystals at any type of shop, perhaps jewelry. They are just expensive sometimes. We had two crystals, one was a purplish color, but it broke.

I believe all things have a "force", in living things it's more focused and stronger and can be thought of as a life force but even rocks have forces and energy. These forces are larger in hills and mountains due to the volume of material. Crystals are special because they are a more pure form of matter and that focuses the energy in a certain direction. All crystals give out a slightly different energy because they have a different chemical makeup.

Proof ? Everyone is always looking for some kind of proof. Proof is in the persons mind/thought/actions, as well as ones intent.
Is not anothers belief in the fact that something works for them proof. Not all people believe in the same things !
As far as Crystals go, they have been used all threw history to present day. Native Americans used/use them. And I will leave any other comments alone and just refer you to the above statement made by Unity.

Crystals help to maximize energy transmission and other qualities. Crystals have been used healing since ancient times. Crystals can be seen to transmit energy and are conductors in healing and in technology. There are crystals in your watch, computer, etc.
The belief in crystal healing is not really set around age, more about spiritual and religious beliefs. crystals are what form the ley lines around the world. where they intersect there is supposed to be a special magical nexus.
some times it is just the color that does the trick. other times it is the chemical makeup of the crystalline structure that makes a Chrystal magical.

My aunt uses a sort of "energy crystal" that, when she sits in her chair, she hangs it over her head, and it's supposed to give her power. Well, she's 98 and can walk just fine, so it must be doing something good...

They have energies or vibrations, not magics. It doesn't quite work like that. We can't 'prove' it. That is like asking a Christian to prove God exists, they can't. It is about belief. You either believe they have energy, or you don't.
