Its unbelievable really considering it was the same group of players that nearly got relegated last year, but i would say with O'Neill at the helm they are definite contenders for a uefa cup spot this season they are playing some great football.

If they do then it's all down to Mr Motivator, Martin O Neil.
An absoloutly fantastic manager and his track record speaks for itself.
Last year Villa were terrible, but it's almost the same team, just with the different manager. O Leary wasted millions at Leeds then went on to ruin Villa as well, The 5,000+ who didn't renew their season tickets this year said it all. O Leary is almost on par with Graham Souness i'd say, as far as ruining big football clubs go.
That's just my opinion.
