I've noticed that a lo of guys, specifically in their teens and early twenties, are wearing more long, fluffy feminine hair. Hair that sometimes look more well done and feminine than some girls hair. Usually these guys are very thin as well, wearing tight clothes, looking more androgynous than like actual guys. This look is shown on billboard adds in stores like the Gap, etc, as the look to get when shopping for clothes. Sometimes, I mistaken them for girls when I see them from a distance, and I can't see there faces up close. Some of these guys are emo, but not all.

Girls, does this new look turn you on? Why or why not? Guys, do you like wearing this new look? Why or why not?

Just wondering. Not trying to start a fight, just asking a question to learn.

Alex - Thats very interesting. In black culture, guys got pickedon by girls who were too thin, or femmy looking. Not that you are femmy looking. But I always found it interesting that in white culture, it's a bit different in the tastes that girls have in men.

From personal experience of being called androgynous alot and almost constantly pre-pubity, i've found that girls like the way I look, i dont have long hair (that really would make me look like a girl!) but I am very thin with high cheekbones, girls have told me that becuase of my androgynous look they feel that i must be more sensitive then other guys just from the look of me, so I guess that some girls want a sort of friend/boy-friend? I can't say that i'm mad about the way I look, I can't really help it, but it does have its good points!

I think the term is metrosexual.......on some guys I like it, bu those ones would have a tendency to have a lot of facial hair.....you can still see the shadow after they shave.....I also don't mind if they are the ones that dress really nice but they have to have a good V going on.

It has been found through research that girls prefer a guy that has a somewhat pretty almost feminine look in the face, and skinny people have always been and always will be attractive.

I personally don't like it at all. I like a man with a hair cut that's neat but doesn't take too much product to make it and keep it that way.

I've always liked the long, curly, shaggy hair. John Mayer is doing that right now... it's adorable.

it'll last for a year and go away like it did in the 80's , and the 60's and ... don't worry.
