Or, Boy i sure had a rough test on a certain subject, and I heard around campus that you are a good student, How about giving me a few pointers, And that should do it, If she rejects you , then oh well better luck next time, But she shouldnt not with those lines

Find out what her interests are. Find an event on campus that she would find interesting to go to based on her interests. At the bus stop, ask he if she has heard about this event. If she seems enthusiastic about it, ask her to go with you. If not, you have not embarassed yourself and can find another opportunity.
