Hating where America is going and trying to change it is not hating America. Trying to make America better is not hating America. Criticizing the administration is not hating America.

Do they really hate America or do they just not agree with you?

Please don't confuse the American public with its government.
The people that speak out (Dissent) against the government to protect Americanism do not loath America. They value the concept of the constitution which is being manipulated. I can understand why many Americans, like yourself, make this assumption. Our media has played a large part in labeling Americans as a 2 sided nation of red state vs. blue state...democrats vs. republicans and so forth. All these divisive phrases are merely meant for American citizens to point the finger at each other instead we should all (together) be pointing our finger at our government. Thomas Jefferson once said..."This is a government of "distrust" not trust" ......we have trusted and empowered our government too much. In the process we have forgotten that this is a government for and by the people. Great Question....unfortunately I am new to this forum and cannot give you a thumbs up.

Greetings!

I suppose because we are conditioned to be red or blue. Spokespeople for these two colors spew hate hate and hate.
Only for the sake of choosing, because both sides are guilty, lets look at Rush L.
Three hours a day like a fighter who has his opponent on the ropes, he hammers, hammers. Qualifications? He used to be a disc jockey who also announced the lineup for the Royals. As you all know he is also an admitted junkie. Oh sorry, a sick junkie.
Remember too, that he has only endorsed one candidate for the presidency, and that is Pat Buchanan.

People don't loathe countries, they loathe people!

Thank You

Take popular opinion and plot it over a bell shaped curve - with an adequate sample, its is bound to happen.
I loathe some of the things this country does, has done , and appears to be about to do, but they country...No I have appreciation and respect for it. That means your country too.

It is a bit Vague, If you mean We Americans hate the country, Its more that We disagree with the current leadership. If you mean another country, Its the leadership of those countries and the brainwashing they do on there citizens. You cant blame a 5 year old for hating the US they don't know any better. And if there government is censoring media, how are people supposed to really know the truth. But that's different from those who know the truth and pervert it for there own gain.

Because they never lived anywhere else to see how well they have it. These are the same people who don't vote. They would rather complain than to try to make things better. They also would never consider to volunteer for any agency like the Red Cross or Habitat for Humanity or Meals on Wheels. Perhaps if they did, they might find the "heart" of America, it's the people who live here. You need to have self pride before you can earn the privilege of having the pride of your Country.

Because the programming on tv has taught us to distrust everyone, which is quite sad. After Watergate, the media no longer trusted the president. (For example, look at the difference between Kennedy's alleged affair and Clinton's affair.) I am not a liberal, and am not standing up for anyone, but the fact of the matter is that after Watergate, the media felt as though it could trust no one, and suddenly felt the need to print everything, even if it was just Gerald Ford tripping on the stairs. It's quite sad, actually.

these people want drama , they want something to go wrong so they can talk about it . these are the same people that get exited when a natural disaster happens so they have something to watch for a couple of days . then there are those that heard people bashing america and just join in either to fit in with their peers or just weak minded . Just like any country USA has it's good points and bad , but if you hate is so much just move , it is very easy , much easier than attempting to change the entire country into thinking the same way

Maybe if you weren't so ignorant you would realize that Democrats and liberals love this country. THAT'S WHY we speak out against Bush. We loathe the Bush Administration, not the country.

I don't think that any Americans loathe our country, but many patriotic Americans loathe how these people currently in government are destroying everything that our country has ever stood for.

Why? It's because of Bush, of course. That 2000 election-stealing punk took office amid a huge political divide after the Supreme Court awarded him the Presidency, screwing Al Gore for that job. And you saw the end result of it.
