I am sagittarius and I had a girlfriend who was cancerian. We never got along well. Although I dont put it down to star signs completely after looking at a few compatibility charts I have realised that we are not meant to get on well. What are your ideas? or experiences?

One can secure a better idea about life which anyway is complicated with all intricacies about relationships and a p[ossible peaceful association of life.As one who has studied horoscopes for 3 decades,I can not help some such scepticism from others who loose faith simply when things do not happen the way thet expect.Why should two persons agree on everything in life? Why should not some people who do not like each other for many years suddenly find they have something in which they are together and life is worth living together rather than fall apart pointing out differences.Astrologically, a cancerian is highly egoistic and needs lot of praises to keep him or her in good humour.A sagittarian is generous,philothropic and can live on principles like believing in doing charity.It is possible to narrow the differences and still can carry on the friendship.But for marital relationships,you need to think carefully and arrive at more matching points.

As far as I'M concerned the ONLY accurate astrology (couples) book out there was written by Jackie Stallone called Star Power. She divided each sign into 3 sectors and has compatibility ratings for all possible combinations. Since I don't know you're ex and your birth dates I looked them all up and can tell you that No sag and cancer couple is given a very high rating. I t won't be happy in the long run. I had this book since it first came out and I can tell you that I only know of one couple that has a low rating that is together after 20 years. And maybe that's because they live apart. This book is 99% accurate!

I absolutely believe in astrology. When I was 11 years old I went to a Thrifty Drug Store (now Rite AId). I still remember reading a "Virgo" horoscope book and being absolutely amazed! I've followed it all my life. I still get my daily horoscope sent to me on the internet according to my exact birth date and time. The simple sun sign's rarely accurate. A Christian friend ( I also love the Lord God) admonishes me for following astrology. We have agreed to disagree about politics and astrology. I'm sure it's a tool God gives us. I once read that once a person's soul has evolved to a much higher degree, astrology's no longer relevant to their lives. I believe this to be true, as I'm studying releasing negative thinking and making a real effort to think positively.

I was the same way. i had a cancer boyfriend and we argued a whole lot. Just dont go with another Sagittarius. I mainly get along with some aquarius'. So just try and see who is best. I really dont believe in horoscopes though.

Well I don't believe in horoscopes, but the advice they give is good. Such as 'Try to do something nice for your coworker today' or 'Tonight go relax while listening to music. But don't follow 'Tonight get under the bed, put your head under a pillow, and breath deeply.'

I've had really bad experiences with Sagittarians! (excluding you cos I don't know you), I think they are complete ar5eh01es! backstabbing s.o.bs! the ones I know (and believe me there are few) can be really friendly to your face, then once your back is turned they just slag you off! - Thats why they don't get along with most people and have limited friends. So its not your girlfriend, its probably you.

I do not believe in in astrology nor horoscopes, especially those that you can read in magazines. I do not think that the constellations can predict any aspect of your future, for the simple reason that constellations do not physically exist. Additionnaly, the planets were not all discovered when astrology began.

No, they are a waste of time. Some personalities are not compatible. You have to find someone who is the best for you.
