That the spirit of the law or contract be upheld and not the letter of the law. When some one is guilty they won't get off on a technicality. When a company screws the customer like some banks they are not working within the spirit of the contract they know it and should be punished. When we ambulance chase, make claims for insurance losses that we did not really suffer we are guilty of not living to the spirit of the contract or law and we know it. This is the thing that i would endeavour to enforce.

I'd change the law so that kids who commit crimes don't get of scott free just because they are under age.
If your 13 or 14 and you go out and beat and rob some old lady, you should be tried as an adult. There are kids out there who know they can get away with this sort of thing because of there age. I'm fed up of seeing these young thugs getting sent to some adventure camp where they go waterskiing and paintballing. Send them to prison for a few years, that'll shake them up a bit. You can't tell me that a 13 year old doesn't know the difference between right and wrong.

I would write a law that restricted what credit card companies could do to there customers. Every law concerning credit seems to favor credit card companies. Abortion is suppose to be a means of privacy between doctor and female but there is no privacy in the credit world. The credit unions know every thing about you

Death penalty for apostrophe misuse. Some might say this is a little harsh, but not me. The uses of an apostrophe are clearly defined and everyone who is capable of writing should also be capable of understand and implementing the rules.

I'd bring out a law that says everyone on yahoo who asks a really stupid question should then give me ten quid.

I would outlaw second hand obesity.
I would make everyone celebrate Christmas on a Monday.
I would require all public officials to take random drug tests. If we can do it to a wal mart cashier, why not our Senators and judges?
