Time can be your answer , chances are he still loves you, but you both just need Little time to see that you need each other..
unless he has a new flam burning then again like I said time will tell all!!! Just keep your distance and see if he comes back to you...like that old saying ( if you love something let it go , if it comes back to you then its yours ) good luck hun

I think its not yet over. Spending 3 yrs is not a joke. In that long yrs. you know him better than anyone else. This depends on the situation why you both broke up. If its bcos of a third party then i think you should anticipate thats its over but, if its bcos of a general argument i think you can still work on that. I have a bf we're 3 yrs also we both search for someone else like we want to see how it feels like to be seperated and free from each other. In short, we dated someone else then when we are about to commit to someone else and we both want to be serious with the person were dating, it happened that we both feel uncomfortable for our seperation it end up like we still love each other and we end up hiding in a province so that we could escape from the persons we previously dated. Maybe its a matter of love. You are the only one who can tell if you still love each other and if the relationship is really over. Try to feel it and you will know the answer.

If the relation is so fragile that it breaks after an association of three long years it is not worth it. You may have hopes but you will soon find out that what ever happens it is always for the good.

Give it a little bit, you will find out. Be patient. Since you broke up, you are probably feeling depressed, do yourself a favor and go out, have a good time and relax. You need to do something to take your mind off of him.

if the issues are resolveable, talk about it -- maybe come to agreement for middle ground and continue if you both want to. You know it's over when you can't communicate or trust.

Once gone...leave him GONE...you are better off...it won't ever work. Get yourself straightened out and call me.....just kidding.....get yourself straightened out and move on to a more beautiful life that you deserve. Take care.
