You sound like a pretty normal sort of 15 year old to me. You may be getting too much sleep. Check your diet, that it is varied (that's check what you eat, not go on one) with a fair sprinkling of fresh food, greens (Yeah, Yuck, I know) and some fresh fruit. Now, the big thing, get some hobbies/ sports (Yup, uncool, my daughter tells me and she is about the same age as you). Try a few different things at least one of which should be outside. Try different ones because it's not a question of "I'm going to take up tennis" or whatever, you don't know what you might find interesting. Believe it or not, mild depression can be helped by activity. Don't go mad on a particular interest (if you try tennis, borrow some kit as otherwise things can get expensive) and you ever know you might meeet a few new guys you may even like!

People need differing amounts of sleep. I'm 43 and I feel best with 10 hours of sleep. Less than that, and I try to find time for a :30 "booster nap".

If your mood swings are truly unpredictable, or causing problems at home or school (can't keep up with school work, friends are avoiding you, etc.) maybe you should speak to your school counselor, or another adult you trust.

Good luck!

Hey its sounds like its just normal hormones problems. You might be over stressed at school or have problems at home that you are not addressing. Tell your parents that they could read up on how to communicate with your teen and then they might understand why you have these mood swings, but the mood swings you are having is completely normal for a teenager as yourself.

Of course you take a nap! Teenagers are supposed to get 9 1/4 hours of sleep, not 8(thats for adults). So very day when you come home you're exhausted which i bad for you and could be throwing off your hormones. You need to get more sleep!

Speaking of hormones, thats likely what has you moody. As your body develops you have huge surges of hormnes which affect everything from how you look, to how you feel. Relax, its nothing to worry about Its just puberty.

It could be hormones, but at 15 you shouldn't need a nap. Ask your mom to take you to a doctor and tell him about how you feel. Depression can make you tired and sleepy. You might need to talk to a counselor. Your school nurse can probably help you with that too, but talk to your mom and dad, especially if they think you are on drugs. It will help them to be able to help you.

don't worry it just ur hormones. i mean the teen years r craziest for us girls. try to relax. do stuff that is fun for you like shopping or hanging out with friends. try to talk to ur parents that u r not taking drugs it just something ur going through as a kid. when i was 15 i felt the same way. i mean everyday pressure from school parents and peers just drove me crazy. and there would be days that i would be in a happy mood for no reason.as u'll get older u'll be able to control ur depression and frustration.
just have fun ok.

You're 15. Just try and be happy and don't worry. On the other hand you might try and see if you feel any different when you get up an hour or two later if you don't need to get up at 5.

Not to scare you, but see if your parents will take you to the doctor. The mood swings sound a little like bi-polar disorder. It is very treatable. You should really have yourself checked .out

You are probably most likely okay. Problems at school and with friends can draw to that. Or maybe it's just PMS. If you see that there is a serious problem then consult a doctor.
