A *regular* polyhedron with 12 faces exists too: the dodecahedron, which has 12 regular pentagons for its faces. In each vertex, three pentagons come together. You could picture it as follows: take a flat regular pentagon; erect five pentagons on its sides. You now have half a dodecahedron. Make a similar shape of six more pentagons, and combine the two halves.
