Ha ha! Awesome question. You should get 10points for this alone.
Well, quite a few. One at home, though no one saw it. It was after my lunch, instead of the kitchen, I went and kept my plate in the bathroom sink!!! A while later, while watching TV, it suddenly hit me and I hit the ceiling and ran to the bathroom to get it to the right place before my mom could find it!
One other absent mindedness' story which keeps repeating often, is I go the bathroom I usually end up brushing my teeth with toothpaste. (What I mean is, like around 4-5times a day whenever I enter the restroom) It's so silly, because, I go there to take the nail-cutter or whatever, everytime I forget what it was and end up brushing my teeth. This is ok... but my worst was when I did brush in the morning, forgot if I did it or not and not wanting to smell, brushed a second time! Gosh - I think I need a remembrall!!! (HP)

oh man, I was at work and had on a new suit - felt that I looked sharp (doesn't happen often but when it does, it sort of makes your day). It was a beautiful beige jacket with a short skirt. I had on nice heels. I worked at a VA hospital in a cancer unit. I was leaving for the day. I stopped at the bathroom and then walked down the long, long hall to the elevator. Got on the mirrored elevator with one of my patients. He said, "Um, ma'am, uh, I think something might be wrong with your skirt." I looked into the mirror and I had stuffed my skirt into the back of my pantyhose when I had made the visit to the bathroom! I quickly started to fix things before the elevator stopped at another floor.
I had walked down that long hall feeling like I was on top of the world with my butt hanging out. Didn't even feel a draft. I just couldn't look that guy in the eye for as long as he was in the hospital but I was so grateful he told me and he did it in the sweetest way possible! And I just couldn't bring myself to wear that suit for a really long time and to this day, I am soooo careful to check everything when I leave a bathroom!

It happened when I was studying in school,
We used to play cricket after school hours and used to go home very late.
One day while I was returning to home on my bicycle suddenly I remembered my bicycle keys. I thought that I lost them somewhere, and I got off my bicycle to search my school bag, and my pockets worriedly. after spending nearly 15 mins searching for my bicycle keys I remembered where I put them
they were hanging to my bicycle lock!!!
It was such an absent minded situation that I could not even realise how I was riding my bicycle without key to open my bicycle lock.
even today I cant stop bursting into laughter when I remember this funny absent minded situation!!!

Believe it or not, I was in the house without pants and I remembered I forgot something in my mom's car. I walked out of the trailer w/o pants. The people next door were having a BBQ. They all laughed at me. I was humiliated. I could still hear them making fun of me into the night. I got out my Satanic Bible and cursed them all. 2 years later they moved to another state. True story.

yeah. i electrocuted myself. i was detaching a lamp from and endtable (they came together as one piece) and had to cut the lamp cord with a pair of scissors, all metal, to get the lamp completely detached. Forgot to unplug the lamp first. Cut the cord, electrocuted myself and blew the power out in my apartment building. such an idiot!

Long ago i used to live 2nd floor of apartment .one day i just arrived at 3d floor somehow .. and press the doorbell..the owner of third floor opened the door and i asked her why are u here?? she said, it's my home dear.! I just laughed at myself..
