I am scottish and since the age of 12 have never worn any undies, but if I wore a kilt I would probably wear some.

can i give a sensible answer??
as a kiltmaker may i make some suggestions..
firstly if its your own kilt wear what you want if anything.
if you hire/rent or borrow a kilt bare in mind that these have been worn before and ask yourself.. no matter how its been cleaned, if at all do you really want your bits rubbing somewhere that someone elses sweaty nuts have been.

on a more comical side.. never trusted a kilted man with dandruff on his shoes.. and if anyone asks what is worn under the kilt. tell them nothing is worn, its all in perfect working order

Anyone who does wear anything under his kilt isn't Scottish and therefore shouldn't be wearing a kilt in the first place, simple as that.
