Anne Rice wrote all those novels about vampires and witches. Then she went through a period of personal tragedy, and because she's so fond of New Orleans, she had to deal with Hurricane Katrina.
She has now changed her writing genre... she must have had a powerful experience of some sort to make that move, in my opinion.

Well, Stephen King makes an interesting choice, as he is wildly popular, makes a ton of money, writes in a controversial genre, and is a really decent, down to earth guy...

Not to be rude but I don't think that your teacher will approve of you asking strangers who u should do u project on. I think the whole idea of homework is to do it yourself. Don;t take this the wrong way but don't ask homework questions online unless it is a school runed thing.

cornelia funke. she wrote the book the thief lord and inkheart, which has a sequel to it called inkspell. very good book. she lives in hamburg germany with husband and children.
