The highest temperature ever in AZ was 128F, where NV was 125F.

i would have to say Phoenix; i've never heard anyone b*tch about the weather in Vegas, but i hear them complain about Phoenix all the time.

Vegas is a bit cooler in the winter, which is why it has a lower average. Both are blazing hot in the summer and Vegas gets less rain.

If you're talking temperature, then Phoenix is the answer, but if you mean nightlife, then it's Vegas, baby!

Las Vegas is higher in elevation.
