My wedding is October 7, 2006 and I still do not have my bridesmaid dresses. The wedding has a Fall theme and will have lots of pumpkins and leaves with mostly browns, deep reds, oranges, and yellows; you get the idea. I need CHEAP dresses fast for my 5 girls. I live about 2 1/2 hrs from Charleston, WV and 1 1/2 hrs from Huntington, WV. I would love to be able to order them online. I dont have a specific style or color and I dont care if they are all different. If you have any ideas, please let me know. THANKS!!!

Well if you order them online, they mail them to you. This means your girls cant try them on til the buy them, and usually (im maid of honor in a wedding the same day as yours) they told us that it takes at least 6 weeks to have them mailed to you.
We were looking at dresses yesterday at the mall, and the cheapest I saw was $89 at JCPenneys. Are you paying for these dresses or are your girls buying them? And dont forget about the cost of shoes. To have mine dyed the color I needed from Davids Bridal it was $56, but the cheapest I saw (depends on shoe style) was $45.

*Also, with the fall wedding theme (which is the same as my friends on the same day as you, weird? haha) You can have different styles of dresses. Maybe 3 girls brown and 2 champagne colored? It would be easier to find sizes that way. Then when they line up, every other one will be brown, champagne, brown...get it? Just an idea we were throwing around. If I were you, I would get ALL the girls together and GO SHOPPING!! haha if moneys a problem and you find an exp. dress, have each girl pitch in say $90, on a $120 dress, and you pay the rest.

That a touch sitch! I'd check out eBay. If you're picky about them being exactly the same, you'd probably have to get someone to make them, or find a major carrier that specializes in gowns, this usually takes a few weeks to ship out though. Try to have fun with it, I know you're probably stressed. Pick one colour, or one tone and try to stick with it, take everyone shopping, and let the girls pick out what they want to wear. Then everyone happy, and everyone can sort of take care of themselves, leaving you with less to worry about. Good luck!

This may sound iffy but go to like a drama/theatre store they have pretty reniessancy dresses and some are really modern. This may or may not help Good luck I 'm sure you will all be gorgeous

Hey try ebay, i highly doubt they will be all the same dresses,
You could also try a family friend or someone you know who sows, give them a pattern and the material and some cash and they can do it for you
