Either replace the injector which is the best decidion or if you still think its good get a new clip. There is a clip than holds the hose to the injector. Also I would replace the injector orings..Put a little dab of trans mission fuid or vasaline on the orings so they slip in the hole without tearing it and help the oring make a good seal. Then install the same way it came out

Lines that supply fuel to the Central Port Injector or "spider" are very brittle due to the heat. These lines come in a set from a dealership and are not that expensive. Before you started working on your intake gasket, if you were having a long cranking time they were most likely already leaking. We have had to install several sets of those exact same lines lately, more of those than the CPI actually. The CPI is now available aftermarket for a fraction of the cost of the dealer cost and we have been using those with no problems.

Hi,

That is not good! It will leak and cause engine emission problems. Those are very delicate from years of heat exposure. I would remove all the greasey residue and put some gasket maker around the tuBe at the insertion point. Make sure the gasket maker can tolerate fuel exposure.

Wait 24 hours for it to cure!

If that doesn't work you'll need to replace the "spider" which costs about $500

cpi- central point injection . dont miss around man its best to pay the cash and replace or u probably will regret the repaired injector going bad. gasket and seals are replaceable.
