It's a rumor guys. If he were in an accident you would have known, just like when Big Ben from the Pittsburg Steelers got into an accident, it was on the news. He's alive and well, it's just another fake rumor.

Bennett Joseph Savage (September 13, 1980-September 16, 2006) was an American actor.

Savage was born in Chicago, Illinois of Jewish heritage, to parents Lewis and Joanne Savage. He is the younger brother of Fred Savage, who starred in the hit series The Wonder Years.

Savage is best known for his role as lead character Cory Matthews on the TV sitcom Boy Meets World from 1993 to 2000. He graduated from Stanford University in 2004 with a degree in Political Science and as a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

His brother Fred appeared alongside him in one episode of Boy Meets World as well as in the film Little Monsters.

He made a cameo appearance as himself in an episode of the Disney Channel original series Phil of the Future.

Savage is good friends with his former Boy Meets World co-stars Matthew Lawrence, Danielle Fishel and Rider Strong.

Savage was driving intoxicated and crashed his automobile. He went into a coma and never awoke. He died on September 16

Guys I think this is just a big hoax! If he were dead it would seen all over the news and not just on MySpace. I've looked on all of the news sites and nothing comes up.

i just saw a bulletin on myspace saying that he was. But thats it. And those bulletins be lying 99% of the time... kinda like the rap game.

NOT TRUE! This is a hoax that started about September 21st. Horrible that someone had to start such a nasty rumor and upset people like you and me.

totally no - in my opinon
yeah, i saw it on myspace, and i was like HOLY CRAP! but really, how credible is myspace?? so i googled it and came up with nothing exept fan sites --and really, if he died it would be all over the news - celebrities don't die quietly.
