Well - I'm a son of both nations. The attitude of Americans to Germans is very different than the other way around. Most Americans have respect and show a lot of interest toward Germany and its people. There is hardly any resentment about the Iraq war - much different than France - Americans have a great time making fun of the French! When you introduce yourself as a German in America most people will be really interested want to hang out with you - unless you have some kind of weird habit lol

There are many Germans here, they are mostly very nice persons that I know. It is difficult to say what most Americans think, their opinions will be different. I think generally most people like Germany and the inhabitants

I Have Not Been To Germany Since 1979,So I Am Not Up To Date On The PPL,I Enjoyed Living There Then,However Politically They R Like The French A Bunch Of Back Stabbing Idiots.....

I think that the German People are good descent people
I think the German Government along with the French and Russian Governments are working to against America and is trying to weaken the U.S.A

My heritage consists of German, Scottish, Irish, English, PA Dutch and Dutch. Of course I love Germany
