Fear stems from facing situations where the consequences of your actions, or other forces, could end in disaster. The worst part about fear is that the more afraid you are, the more likely you will be to make bad decisions that will result in bad actions.
In order to combat fear, you can do what it is that makes you afraid over and over until you aren't afraid of the result ending in disaster. If you are afraid of doing something that is unnecessary and dangerous, you should probably just avoid it.

By believing in yourself and that what you're doing is right for you. Bravery is poorly defined as an act of selflessness in the aid of another, but it can also be defined as a young woman alone having to deal with the everyday passage of life. Everyday that you paint a portrait, aren't you brave for doing so. The apprehension you have at the showing can be your body's expression of what makes you brave, by just having butterflies in your stomach; but still pressing on anyway. Being braver means you keep going with your life and hope that when your life touches someone else, you would have helped them in some small way or fashion. Why did you ask this question?

To be brave is to admit that you have fear. The first step to becoming brave or braver is to admit that you know and have fear. One cannot become brave; you must earn bravery's respect in order to recieve the concept. In other words, you must prove to yourself and to others that you have what it takes to be truly courageous and brave, and not back down when the going gets tough. But keep in mind that there is a distinct line between running away like a coward and backing down out of logic and common sense. There is a distinct line between being brave and being a fool.

Its not a matter of being braver than you are, its a matter of different parts of you coming out at different times. Often, you wont realize how brave or brilliant you are until a situation comes up and you become more than what you thought you were, but it was always in you.

You are what you think. Just by thinking you're a mean, tough brave person that vibe will be spread out
