"The trust realtionship between this work station and Primary domain failed"

Can any one please explain why and how to solve this problem

Check the domain name on your server and XP workstation. If they are not the same, then windows looks for trust relationship between these 2 domains. widnows XP must first join the domain, and then you can connect to it.

you must match the domain name name exactly and have the rights on that domain to make a computer a part of it. the system must first become a "node" on the domain and then a user who is able to log into the domain will be able to log in

Hi... All u need to do is remove the computer from the domain and re add it, that shld work.

use ip addresses to make the connection sometimes pinging the otrher box will make it resolve
