I'm actually curious to know since spam is obviously a marketing strategy...Does anyone actually buy the products advertised? I've checked out a few porn sights sent though my e-mail, but I never typically buy anything from what what send to me via e-mail.

I hope that NOBODY buys a product or service from SPAM. You see, that would justify them using SPAM as a form of advertising.

In fact, as soon as you see that it is SPAM, you should use the SPAM button. Yahoo takes SPAM very seriously, so when Yahoo e-mail users use the SPAM button, they BLOCK this crap.

I hope that SPAMMERS get the message, or GO BROKE.

In general, I like to see the company Name, Address, Phone numbner and other things before buying from their website. So when someone tells me to try.. blah blah.... I check them out. I will often use http://www.bbb.org and see if anyone has filed a compaint against them. If a company is not willing to tell me WHO they are and WHERE they are from, they are a NOBODY. I'll spend my money elsewhere. Even a million positive feedbacks at eBay does not make me particularly comfortable.

Never, its the same with junk mail, puts me off the company even more. In fact its almost like a put off. If anything is guarenteed to make me not buy from a company, then send me spam or junk mail or phone me!!!!!

oh yeah - most spam sells porn or illegal stuff - now imagine this: You send Spam to one million people and 100 buy this ****. Then it's definitely worth it. It's just a different kind of advertising for a different kind of market!

I don't really know, but since there are people we hear about in the news who fall for scams that they get e-mailed, it's safe to assume that those types of people might actually read their SPAM.

I personally don't open anything I don't recognize. I'm so sick of being asked if I would like to increase the size of my penis. I don't even have one!

Someone must buy the stuff and it must be worthwhile or there wouldn't be any benefits to it. I can't see any adults spamming about products to do it just "for fun".
It's probably all those desperate blokes wanting bigger penises though jacking up the sales figures. =/

Naive users still go for it.. but google and yahoo almost eliminated spam to your inbox... unless and otherwise you goto spam folder... one thing i do is, ctrl-A and Del
