I finally took the test. my mom and sister wanted me to take it immediately, i wanted to wait until the morning. they talked me into taking it. soon as my urine touched the stick, i got a big +.

i'm still spotting a little and very lightly so i'm going to go to the ER today. but i'm defnitely pregnant.

My warm congratulations. Your spotting is quite a usual experience in early pregnancy as long as you are sure it is just spotting. It is a wise thought to see a doctor at this time, at least to have a check up and you will then be assured that you are okey. Otherwise, you will remain concerned over the spotting you have, worrying is not good during pregnancy. See your doctor, take care of yourself and the little one inside you, and congratulations again.

First off, CONGRATS!
It is smart to go to your Doctor or the ER just to make sure everything is ok... but it is also very normal to have a little bit of spotting early on in the pregnancy -- they call it "implantation bleeding".
Go get the book "Week by week of your pregnancy", Im currently reading this book and it tells you what you can expect throughout your pregnancy, its wonderful!

congrats... I spotted a little at first with both of my kids. I went to the dr. about it and he just sent me home to relax.
