Two different iPods can work with the same computer/installation of iTunes. While one iPod is plugged in, you can set preferences for that particular iPod as to what playlists or songs are uploaded/synchronized to it.

Just make sure you have the most up to date version of itunes and there should be no problem hooking up more than one at once.

if your using a mac it will cope fine it will probaly be plug and play but if its a windows your screwed because the os isnt good enough

each ipod has a unique ID so you shouldn't have a problem.
