your internet connection speed is like a road. dial up is like a 2-way road. high speed is more like a freeway. the more traffic you have on this road, the slower it's going to become. in order to increase speed, you would need to increase the width of this road... in internet terminology, it would be you would need to increase your bandwidth or get a faster connection. if you're on dial up, get DSL or cable. if you have DSL or cable, sometimes they offer higher bandwidth packages. if you already have the highest speed package available, your next option is to get half a T1 or a full T1. Contact your internet provider for more details.

This is the nature of bandwidth, think of your internet connection as a pipe with water being the data. The more faucets (downloads) that are turned on the slower each flows. The only way to increase the speeds of the flow is to increase the size of the pipe. So you would need to contact your ISP and purchase a higher speed bandwidth.

You cant double your speed, Your ISP (Internet Service Provider) gives you a specific bandwidth that you cant exceed
so when you download many files at the same time you devide your bandwidth on the downloading files
when someone tells you he can double the spped dont believe him (Except when asking you to buy a higher speed bandwidth)

You have consumed all the resources of your bandwidth by downloading lot's of files at the same time and I don't think a software will help you get more of em resources... If you want more speed upgrade you internet bandwidth through your ISP.

THe best way to increase your speed is by using download manager.
The way it works is, it breaks down all the info, so you can download faster. After it is downloaded it automatically gathers all the info.
