It's like the old saying, "The Truth Always Hurts", in this case it is very true. Time will prove this point.

There's an Aesop Fable that is very suiting to the so called 'pres dent' of Iran and Chavez's visit:
The Fox and the Crow. The Crow was in a tree and had a piece of cheese the Fox wanted. So Fox sits under the tree telling the Crow exactly what it wants to hear to the point it gets excited and drops the cheese. Fox snatches the cheese and that's that.
Iran and Chavez are not our friends. They are here courting the favor of anti-Bush groups in hope that we will become venerable and easy for the taking. Chavez is a Nazi sympathizer. The president of Iran is guilty of slaughtering thousands of his own people and has sworn to eradicate all Jews. Should anyone trust these two?
Hell no!

NO, it was because it was such an outrageous accusation that it is impossible to take it seriously from a world leader. A belief in the devil is laughable to modern civilized educated people.
it may be true, but such things are usually not said at UN conferences. It seems too superstitious to believe . he should have relied on real criticisms and left out the devil part. it detracts from the legitimate value of his other complaints.

Same as kids in a class when the teachers not there, some do some don't, but it's still funny to see the authority mocked.
Many will agree w. the sentiment expressed but it is unworthy of any leader to resort to such rhetoric, even if there are elements of truth in his arguments Bush would merely be the spokesperson for the 'devil.'

The UN hates the US. They would have clapped if any US leader was called the devil. Most US leaders will not be called the Devil because they do not take stands like President Bush does.

Because all tyranical nations feel a need to have another nation to point the finger at when their own government is doing something devious.....
Thus, we have a damn good reason to GET OUT of the DAMN United Nations and a damn good reason to GET the United Nations OUT of THE United States..... Corruption rules in the UN. The UN is not a friend of rights, freedoms, or America.....

Because they admired someone who told the truth and had the guts and intestinal fortitude to get up in front of people and tell it. If he isn't the devil, he's the closest thing we'll see to the devil in our lifetimes.

Because the UN is nothing but a bunch of American-hating LOSERS.
Of course when a earthquake hits some 3rd world country who's there to provide aid?
When AIDS got out of hand in Africa, what country stepped up to bat and poured BILLIONS of dollars into the Continent to stop its spread?
When Adolph Hitler was killing by the thousands who stopped him?
When the Imperialist Japanese were attempting to conquer all of the South Pacific who stopped them?
When Saddam Hussein was killing by the thousands and terrorizing his neighbors who stopped him?
------------------------------------------------------------
The UN.... Setting back the cause of democracy on a daily basis.

Because they really thought that Hugo was ridiculous. Obviously it is just an attempt to gain publicity, because come on, did anyone really care (as much) about Venezuela before this?
