Can I file a motion in family court for custody of my children from the grandparents?

I gave my mother what i thought was tempory custody of my two children, now she won't give them back and i want to file a motion with the court to hear my case. I don't have the money for a lawyer so can i do this by myself?

yes u can remember it is just temp cust. you can always try legal aid or something who will take your case for free
