Start with Occam's Razor. It essentially embodies the arguments of both sides.
Religious people believe that the simplest explanation for the existence of all the wonders of the universe is to posit an all powerful god who made it all. They believe the complexities of the sciences are the less likely explanation for our experience and universe. They also believe that the bible says that God created the universe, and so it must be true. Furthermore, they feel a deep knowledge that there is an all powerful God, so it resonates with them that God would have created the universe.
Evolutionists believe that positing an all powerful god begs the question of creation, since it doesn't explain how that (arguably far more complex than the universe) being came into being. They believe that the simple principles of natural selection are more than sufficient to create life as we know it. They further believe that the fossil evidence contradicts the biblical story of creation. They do not assume that the bible is correct. Evolutionists, or at least some of them, feel that religion and the belief in god is a natural outgrowth of our culture and our need to explain the universe in a pre-scientific world.

Too much to list but start with this. Evolution says, given enough time, matter will organize itself into complex life forms. Add energy that evolution says "has always been" and you get a world. Creation says, there has never been an example of "something" coming from nothing. everything on the Earth is designed. A design demands a designer. If evolution says the universe has always been, creationists can say God always was. If you need more help, email me.

Science has been lying to us for years on evolution. and has crushed the faith of our young people for years,
I was taught the theory of evolution in school....
I later found out that it is a lie...
Darwin was dead wrong about evolution..
we now have proof that the earth was created in six days.
we have found signitures in granites that could only come from an instant creation of the earth... making the rocks instantly
and that man walked with the dinosaurs..
theory of the biblical flood of Noah..
the earth was probably flooded for about a year..
due to the tremendous tidal forces and the depth of the water the fossil records were mixed and sediment were layered.
we have found trees going through the middle of these layers and science says the bottom layer would be 50,000,000 years old and the top layer would be 1,000,000 years old. how can that be if there is a tree through them and connecting them all.

It all depends on the individuals belief system. I was brought up to believe in whatever I wanted to believe in. I developed my own beliefs, which do not include religion or one God ruling all or anything to that matter. Evolution makes sense to me. It has science to back it up. It can be proved using techniques that are used everyday to solve crimes and invent new and exciting things. I find it very hard to believe that everything here on this planet just appeared one day. Looking at history, and how far we have come forward in the past 200 years is proof enough to me that Evolution is a viable explanation for the world.

Evolution: we have found remains of early ape/human combinations, we can see things evolving like Darwin's finches
God's creation: first of all, where would matter itself have come from? Also, things are hopelessly complicated and precise, and if the universe was made only slightly differently life wouldn't exist. Also, Darwin said that if life was ever found to be irreducibly complex his theory would fall apart, and a cell has been found to be that, which basically means that if just one little part of a cell mutated it wouldn't survive long enough to reproduce because every piece works together

I believe that we evolved , perhaps from bacteria , over millions of years into what we are today .
It is often said that we evolved from monkeys , why then is there still monkeys ?
I think we did not evolve from monkeys , but we share a similar process of evolution with them , dolphins are similar to sharks but did not evolve from sharks .
All animals are different but all share similarities because we all evolved in accordance with the environment we shared .
This question has been around since man learnt to communicate , but education and science wasn't so in order to answer this impossible question
God was invented as it was simple to say he made everything ?

Look at simple things. Creationists believe the world to be thousands of years old. Evolutionists believe it to be millions of years old. take Oil and coal - how long did they take to form - from organic matter - thousands or millions of years. There is oil under the polar ice caps - did it form from organic matter or was it put there by God - you decide for yourself based upon the evidence. But there is strong evidence to suggest life was designed - if water froze 1 C lower - and we would all freeze to death. Man didn't invent electricity he discovered it. It was fortunate or my computer wouldn't work.... lol
