How many (besides myself) are tired of having to waste our valuable time on hold only to get a foreigner who doesn't even speak our language. It seems like every American company has enlisted the help of foreigners to answer their phones. I have nothing against them personally, but really, would they want to deal with me if they where in America and I was answer the phones of their large companies back in thier homeland?
I hate Dell, Charter Communication, Sprint, etc...all of them who are doing this. It drives me nuts...

yes i do ,,, let me tell you something ,, my company , in education,, was buying from dell about 500 computers a year, at a cost of $708.00 per unit.. and then when students graduated we let them choose a new computer and printer from dell.. as a gift from us to them these will cost an average of $900.00 ,, now with all the business we do with dell, we did have tech support here in the usa,, untill about 16 months ago ,, and now it is from asian countries,,
we gave dell a choice either you have english speaking tech support or we will take our business some where else.. so they started playing games with us, and we pulled our contracts with them ,,,
i and my company will no longer deal with dell .. untill they have english speaking people..
a company like dell and others will do this sort of thing for cheaper labor,, because they know that we in the usa will complain about it ,,, but we will not do anything about it.
it is all about money,, start takeing their revenue away and thing will change ,, we as the consumer are in the drivers seat..

Would you rather have 5 or 6 hours on weekdays where you can get hold of native English speakers?
They're operating on the assumption that you prefer lower-paid 24-hour support.
But I know what you mean. I love foreign languages and love to meet people from other countries, but when I'm counting on someone for advice who doesn't even understand my question, it gets frustrating!

What can you do? Its those companies decisions to outsource to gain more profit. I really love trying to learn other languages, even if its just a phrase or two to get by. But honestly, when I have a problem with something, I need someone I can communicate with so I can get the problem resolved.

Yes ... not that my questions aren't answered or problems aren't solved but sometimes you feel like killing the person on the other end of the line not that you would but you might feel better knowing that it would only entail a drive cross country instead an overseas flight lol

Everyone wants Dell, shopping at Wal-mart and pants on sale but is shocked that everything is outsourced
