Cheerleading classes????

Question

Where can i find any classes to take? I'm trying to catch up on cheerleading before i go to a team. I'm trying to find classes anywhere around Frisco, Plano, Allen, or Mckinney! PLEASE HELP!!!!!

ok...well i dont know about you but where i live we have a sports dome. where they is classes for every sport you can think of ! see if you have any of those around you. you can also look into a gymnastices place and most times they offer cheerleading classes once a week.

Attend events that cheerleaders are at....right now, football games.

Video tape is the best way to go as far as learning moves and cheers, you can take it home at practice with the cheerleaders.

If you haven't already, enroll in a gymastics class. Get your cartwheel, round-off, and back-handspring perfected. You can work on jumps such as the herkie, toe touch (stradle), scissor and pike too!

if you plan on trying out for a squad, go to the cheerleading coordinator or coach and ask for their requirements. they will probably have some ideas about where you could go for further instruction.

Check your local phone book for kidsamerica and ask for chearleading classes. If I remember correctly, they have them. Also, local schools will hold clinics around tryout time. It's great to show your face at these. You can learn and possibly be seen by the coach of the team you're going to try for.
