"PETA". People Eating Tasty Animals. I would say I'm for them. Yes, definitely for them.

Against.

Before all of the PETA people jump on me, let me ask why little kids are being told that milk is the drink of the devil, and why it's okay for a lion to eat a 40 pound endangered antelope every day, but it's not okay for a human to eat a cow that has been bred to be slaughtered?

Some of their intentions are good, such as trying to get chickens out of 1X1' cages, but others are just stupid. When a PETA activist stares me down for buying a hamburger at McDonalds, I feel as though it's a pedophile staring me down. It's just creepy! McDonalds burgers aren't even real beef; I think they're about 50% other things. Not to mention, if 5% of people stop eating meat, the other 95% will continue to, and tell the 5% they're crazy.

Humans are animals, too. If we should be forced to eat only veggies, so should animals. They won't. It's the life cycle! Mankind has been eating meat since the dawn of time, when Og clubbed a deer on it's head and tore into it's flesh.

I'm not saying that humans should slaughter every animal in sight, but killing one a day for each human on earth isn't going to bring on an apocalypse.

I am for the ethical treatment of animals. I do not agree with PETA's definition of ethical treatment toward animals, but that wouldn't make me opposed to it. Rather, the organization's sensational approach to its cause, going hand in hand with its extremism and corporate blackmailing, makes me oppose it.

I think the organization drags down the conversation surrounding the treatment of animals--the lives of animals would be better faster without it.

I don't believe in Animal Cruelty.. But i also don't believe in PETAs' ethics,
I lost an enormous ammount of respect for them for what they said about Steve Irwin..!!
The more i think about PETA i realise that their campaign to save animals is so in your face, they actually make you feel guilty, to give to them.. They need to take one step back and chill and look at other ways of getting their point across

Are you talking about People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals or are talking about People for the Eating of Tasty Animals?

Either way I think will have to go with ethical people, because they convince hot woment to walk around buck naked. I am all for eating animals, but we should not perform unneccessary tests on them.

Untried technology I am all for using animals. The first living to time travel will be a monkey, just like the first living thing in space was a dog.

I'm partial to both sides. Peta has great intentions but often go to far with their views by trying to force everyone to agree with them.

I agree with some of PETA's philosophies, but little of their methodology. God gave us dominion over animals in the beginning, but it doesn't say He gave us the right to treat them cruelly. I don't want anyone to tell me I'm cruel for feeding and clothing myself and my family, and I don't believe it is cruel to use animals to save human lives.

I am against animal cruelty and I am also against cruelty to humans. They began with good intentions then turned radical. The old saying"You catch more flies with honey than vinegar" is certainly true in their case. When you destroy personal property, you have lost my support.

I'm for it, because animals have rights to live with out cruelty but I do believe food and clothing are not cruelty.
