I dont feel that Mark Cosgrove will be part of Australia's setup for the World Cup 2007. I think they have better batsmen at the top of the order than the burly South Australian (clone of Darren
Lehmann !) - Matthew Hayden, Phil Jacques, etc.. Though I think Cosgrove is a better one-day player than Simon Katich - who mucks around a bit too much at the top of the order.

On the other hand, the Queensland left-armer, Mitchell Johnson could play an important role in Australia retaining the world cup. I was really impressed by his show against India, last saturday (DLF Cup, Kuala Lumpur). He gets the ball to swing both ways at a good pace, is a good fielder and can also bat a bit.

My Australian squad (14man) for the world cup would be:

Ricky Ponting
Adam Gilchrist
Andrew Symonds
Michael Clarke
Damien Martyn
Shane Watson
Matthew Hayden
Michael Hussey
Glenn McGrath
Brett Lee
Nathan Bracken
Mitchell Johnson
Nathan Bracken
Brad Hogg

Though Shane Warne wont be a bad inclusion !

While Hohnson may get a chance to play in World Cup 2007, chances of Mark Corsgrove are very remote
