I used hot glue in the past. I had kids at the time and I wanted to be able to remove the glass in cause it was broken by flying toys and such. Take the door off and lay it on a flat surface and glue the window in. It is wonderful because it is easily removed with a knife!

Most of the time you don't use glue you use glass stops small strips of wood tacted in from back of door

apply a clear caulking compound supplied from a hard ware shop (walmart),clean up excess with a wet rag,secure glass with a few pieces of electrical tape till compound is dry
