It needs to stop now. Our total defense budget exceeds $459 Billion. Russia is number two in the world at $99 Billion.
What does that tell you...
We have simply never been the same country since the end of the Second World War.
And why does every sporting event have to have a military fly over. Am I living in North Korea and just don't know it???
We spend a lot of time celebrating the military, and not much time celebrating all the other hard working Americans who don't happen to be in the military.
Every American contributes to the greatness of this nation.

I was strongly against invading Iraq for many reasons, including the financial reason. Now we would be total jerks to abandon them after starting a civil war there. Both we and they are sort of screwed that way.

If we didn't pursue this war it would have given the impression that anybody can just kill innocent Americans. There will always be war amongst countries, but we have to, as Americans, defend our country, and until those who invade on our soil stop, I commend anyone and all those who stand up for my country.

i want you to think about having a brother/sister/cousin/uncle/aunt/mom/dad in the line of fire.. now i want you to put a price on insuring their safety. how much would you spend to make sure they had enough food.. enough ammo. .a safe place to sleep, weather appropriate clothing or medicine?
ww2 lost a lot of the men and women not to hostile fire but from not being fully prepared for weather sickness and simple accidents..
