Sure, in a way a year is a long time and can have a lot of highs and lows. And in fact sometimes highs and lows go together. You finish school, and your so happy but then again you may have to move and start a new job, and maybe at first these changes bring up hard times. So, definitely, but I'll take the bad if some good comes with it, its the blah times that you don't look back on so fondly.

2003. It was a good year because I graduated high school, but a bad year because some friends and I were in a car accident and one of them ended up in the hospital for a month. And then three months later my oldest sister was in a car accident and ended up in the hospital for a week. And to top it all off, for our schools "prom promise" they showed us a mock car accident on the stage of our auditorium and the car was almost an exact replica of the car my friends and I were in and the accident looked almost like ours, and this was only a week after it had happend and the day that we were told he had no memory. Luckily he got it back soon, but it was bad.
I guess the only good thing was graduating high school, at least as far as major events go. The beginning half of the year was pretty good, but it went downhill.

Oh yes, in 2005.
Con: I dated some lunatic for about a year (began 2004) and broke up with him that year (2005)...a month later he tried to commit suicide, he failed, he stalked me, threatened my life, and I had to get a restraining order.
Pro: I found love with someone new that I'm still with <3

Worst: 1999 is the year both my grandparents, who I lived with, passed away
best would be a tie:
1986: when I met my wife
1997: my daughter was born
2000: my son was born
