I used to be terrified of the stage.

But no longer am I fearful. As a matter of fact, I look forward to it every chance I get.

The key was lots of practice. Rehearse your act (or speech) as many times as possible in the days leading up to the event. This will boost your confidence for when the big day comes. Once on stage, stay relaxed. Until you've mastered your nerves, you will have to make relaxing a conscious effort.

Even doing these things, will you still be nervous? You bet! However, with practice, you will learn to harness the nervousness to your advantage. You will use it to keep you alert and on top of your game. Really!!!!!

Wet your whistle to prevent dry mouth. Once on stage, look out over the crowd. Smile often. Make eye contact. Stay relaxed and don't get in a hurry. Make the audience feel at ease. Stay in this routine until the gig is finished.

Do all of these things often ~ and do them well ~ and you'll be on your way to nixing your fear of the stage. Remember, practice, practice, practice!

I wish you the very best. Break a leg!

Simply by facing. You might stammer a bit, develop cold feet and create a scene. Take Deep breath and speak slowly in a modulated voice and try to connect with audience who are paying attention to you and concentrate. Once people start paying attention, your confidence will grow leaps and bound. It is a slow process and you have to be patient. Once you have spoken, ask your best friends to critically analyse your performance and try improving on them. bottom line is have patience

If you want to become a singer then I would suggest singing to a best friend or someone who your really close to. Then they can tell you if you sing good and if you sing good then you probably won't have stage fright.
Thats how I gave up stage fright. :-D

Pretend noone is in the audience. And it's just you and your friends, or you and the people you are up there with. What ever you do dont picture people in their underwear. That will make you more nervouse
