You are looking for what is called an ephemeris. This charts the position of the moon and planets over time. You can find one on line by following this link: http://www.khaldea.com/kldaephem/1900/nov1949gmt.shtml
To answer your question: Nov 5, 1949 - the moon was at its fullest 21:08 GMT (grenich mean time). There are some adjustments depending on your location due to the curvature of the planet but I hope this is accurate enough for your purposes.
