There is this high schooler I like and I think he likes me too but I am not sure. He acts like he likes me to. I told him that I liked and I thought he was cute. We are friends. He is 9th and I am in 8th.

Well the best way to find out is to just ask him out!
Try asking him if he wants to go bowling or to go and see a funny movie, something fun that will make your laugh and give you something to talk about afterwards will help break the ice.
Remember to just say calm, be yourself and don't worry about him turning you down! If he does, then that his problem, he's missing out.
But if you're pretty sure he likes you, then he probably does.
Good luck!

Okay. So now the ball is in his court. Don't keep telling him that he's cute and that you like him. It will make you sound desperate. He is meeting new girls and you will have to keep a cool head. Never let anyone know that you are weak and can't get on with your life without him. Since he now knows that you think he is cute and that you like him, let's see what he does next. I hope it's the right thing. If not, you will be going to high school and you will be meeting cuter guys too.

The best relationships start with friendship, so take it slowly and enjoy the journey. You will reach your destination of something deeper if and when the time is right. It sounds like you're already off to a great start. Have fun!

Just be yourself around him. If he is interested in you, he will always be the same around you too, and if it is meant to happen, it will. Don't press the issue though, that tends to scare boys off. For some reason they tend to be afraid of commitment, especially at that age! Good luck!

What are you expecting? Continue to be friends and enjoy each others company. Maybe he is comfortable the way it is, don't be pushy or you may frighten him off as you may make him feel uncomfortale around you.
