I just saw it in a movie! But Im a cheer leader. It made no sense to me.

It's a stereotype, just like women golfers are lesbians, or guys who drink anything but beer are gay. Pretty much anything that makes someone different from the "normal" attitudes is going to be considered gay.
I think it started because through association with sixties hippies which was a group rampant with homosexuality, communism, vegetariansim, drugs, baby-eating, poverty, pacifism, satanism, liberalism, genital mutilation, terrorism, and bad manners.

No, Vegan means you don't eat anything that comes from an animal. Meat, fish, cheese, milk, eggs, and so on. many Gays and Lesbians are Vegans but so are many Heterosexuals.

I hope you don't believe everything you see in the movies. Vegetarianism and lesbianism do not go hand-in-hand. You CAN be one without being the other.

its a joke..
a vegan doesnt eat any kind of meat ok,
and a males body part is sometimes called "sausage, hot dog" or something like that
so if you understand the joke ... a female vegan would be a lesbian cuz she doenst like "meat" aka "ding-dong"
