Do elk have delusions of grandeer? I have no illusions about my delusions of mediocrity. Being adequate is setting the bar too high. I am sub par in everything except golf. When I proposed to my wife I told her that I wasn't good enough for her and she agreed. How happy I felt. It reaffirmed all my beliefs. Is this an adequate response? I hope not. I would not want to be thrust into the rarefied air of adequacy. Mediocrity suits my comfort zone perfectly. Dare to fail. Be less than you can be. This is my credo.

Yes, I am adequately deluded enough to have delusions of adequacy.

I know my limitations and they are many. But yes, sometimes, I think I can actually repair something - garage remote, clock radio...what the heck are all these little pieces for...surely they can't all be important...toss, toss.
