why cant we serch email id of yahoo in India.the search is only available for US and Canada.Raju also answered this question but it is still ineffective.

Doesn't India also have a Yahoo Member Directory?. Didn't you try to go to that particular member's public profile and obtain the member's ID that way? Yahoo is usually universal. That's how I received e-mails from way over Australia and Spain. It's a random selecting. More often not, the ID is usually the screen name plus their e-mail address. Nothing is off limits nowadays. You can also IM anybody once you know their ID. Although it doesn't quarantee a reply,but you could try.Another way, is under this Yahoo Answers. If they posed a question or give an answer; their screen name usually appears and you can use that or look up their ID in their public profile or click on their display image.
