Witchcraft, or Wicca(the religion) is a pagan religion and way of life-not Hollywood's version of broomsticks and cauldrons. Worship requires no priest or "middle man" to get to God-or in this case God and Goddess. You're your own priest or priestess just by worshipping, and spells and incantations are a way to get more in touch with and show respect to the nature the Gods created around you. Spells are not meant to be a way to hurt people since most Wiccans abide by the law of 3-meaning whatever you put out into the Universe, you get back three-fold...And to those of you who say they worhip Satan-you're completely wrong, since Wiccans don't even believe in the Devil...Just God/Godess and nature.
BTW-Wicca is WAYYY older than Christianity and the Bible---part of what the Crusades were about. Even Christians practice magic(holy water, Baptisms, wearing crucifixes as a form of protection, prayer beads-the list goes on and on about symbolic magic in Christianity-don't be fooled by the word of man-just KNOW the word of God...Amen)

Witchcraft has a bad rap from Dogmatic religions. It is my understanding that this is NOT a demonic deal, is based on nature, the power of life energy, and the witches I have known are NOT evil in any respect. They have a healthy respect for all energy and all life. I am sorry to say that I cannot say the same thing for many other 'religions." Good luck and peace.

That's nothing, what's up with all the people practicing Christianity when that doesn't seem to work?

"Witchcraft" is just the ancient art of healing. The whole "satanic" b.s. is what Hollywood and Christianity claimed it was.
To me, however, it just seems to work on the "placebo effect". Whereby if you THINK it works, it does.

Its a religion black and white, good and bad. Every religion should be love based. I do not mean carnal love which is missed named when called love.

Works for some people.
Not, me, though.
I went with full-out ceremonial/ritual/chaos magic.
It's worked fine for me for years now.

if You are referring to Wicca, it is all about nature. I think the people who practice it are just looking for something more basic and, down to earth.

Ya, what's up with that....there is too much information in God's word to support any encouragement to go that way. People are searching for many things and one of them they don't even know what it is but they want it......and /God is the answer. I am biased that way so I won't agrue with anyone about it...that is my word and that's it..."seek ye first, the kingdom of God".../G
