It was the first few days after it, but now it seems that the message of being strong and moving forward has been lost and the new message is " They are trying to kill you and never forget that "

By letting the USA and the world completely change post 9-11 aren't we helping the terrorists accomplish their goals?

I think that your statement could be taken two ways. America had to change to be alert to and prevent further attacks, if possible. Also we are getting lazy about remembering the horrific actions taken against our country if we are not involved or have no loved ones or political connections involved. We regular citizens are not doing enough to pressure our gov't to do better! We should be taking turns at the borders, ports, airports, and anywhere else that illegals and terrorists can enter our country to keep our country safe. Instead we sit back and fuss like a bunch of little old men sitting on a park bench after their productive years are over.Yes, we are helping the terrorists reach their goals by allowing them into our country still and not focusing on them more. We give away money and fund programs for these illegals/terrorists and allow them to learn in our universities and allow them to tour America to find weak places and to infiltrate our economy and wonder why and how 9-11 happened. It happened while we were watching tv and going to the lake and enjoying our freedom and thinking someone ELSE was watching out for our great country's safety! We have to get more involved and speak to or write to our representatives and lead groups to better our local and national gov'ts.If we little people do not start doing more and a better job then we will allow the terrorists and money hungry politicians to win the battles AND war! The end of our world as we have known it is over and the real end of the world is following soon. Some people are complacent in that also! Oh well, the end of the world is coming and we will be in Heaven soon so why worry about now? We need to worry about now because we do not know the exact time of the end and we need to have a safe and secure nation for ourselves and our children. Why give up on what our fore fathers worked and fought so hard to give us? Do not allow the enemies inside where they can do so much damage physically, emotionally, and financially!

Yes and if you think about it, the terrorists have won. They committed an act, the WTC and Pentagon and the failed Flight 93 which crashed in a field. Now all they have to do, is make a veiled threat that " something" is gonna happen, and we have a knee jerk reaction at the airport. Look at the foiled plot on the transatlantic flights with hair gel or other liquids.

They were probably working on that angle, but, the threat of it has added to our travel troubles so, the terrorists have succeeded.

The people have let the terror and awe of what happened fade and we owe it to those who lost their lives, to not let it happen. There could have been many more deaths had the attack been as much as 30 Min's later than it did. The fire and police in trying to do their jobs, of saving lives, lost theirs. We must never forget these men and woman like we cannot forget Dec 7th, 1941 and the brave people that paid the ultimate sacrifice.

911, they paid that same price, in blood and America, and Americans, should never let them be forgotten.

Yes. We are helping the terrorists accomplish their goals.
But we need to examine two things
1) Who were the terrorists
2)What are their goals.
I have done hundreds of hours of research, and can categorically state that the terrorists were in fact the US government.
What are their goals?
They are controlled behind the scenes by a group of very rich and powerful people, who own the Federal Reserve, a private company, own many large corporations, own most banks, control the education, control medicine, and most things which affect our social lives.
Their agenda, as The New World Order, is to take total control of the whole planet.
In order to do this, they need to reduce personal freedom to the point where no-one can complain without being imprisoned or killed. That is why hundreds of new concentration camps have been built around America.
Their agenda includes removing over half of the planets population, and reducing the other half to slavery.
They made a big step forward in their agenda by arranging 9/11.
Watch this space!!
More similar events coming your way soon!!

Your question is incoherent. Are you saying the US should act as if 9/11 never happened? Should the US not increase airport/airplane security? Should the US not hunt down those planning future attacks?

Political rights of dissent are still protected in the US. The opposition party even works to make winning the War on Terror more difficult to win and they are not arrested although they do keep losing elections.

When someone says they are at War with America it is required that the President take them at their word. What don't you get?

The terrorists are not going to give up if the US tries really hard to make them like us. This isn't kindergarten it is WAR.

I distinctly remember it. It was a Tuesday morning on September 11th. It was like any other until my friend Dave called me and told me to turn on the television. I knew things had changed when I drove into town the next day. I remember driving alone in my car on the freeway and I started to cry for the people who died and I also cried because I knew that things would never be the same again.

Please remain where you are. There will be agents arriving in a moment to speak with you about your attitude.

Seriously, and please don't take this to mean that President Bush or anyone else planned the attacks, but if those hadn't happened, it would have been something else. This administration was just aching to use an attack somewhere to start their own operations. The shame of it is that over 2000 people died and all the US has to show for is a mini-empire in the middle east.

Unfortunately to say that 9-11 was not going to change us, was a little presumptuous. When something like that happens, it is definitely going to change how we do things.

The advocates of repression always seize on acts of terrorism as an excuse to take away liberties from the citizens. That is one of the primary goals of terrorists, and they are usually successful.

Shame on us all for letting them get away with it.
