let the 3rd angle be X degrees.

the 2nd angle = 4X degrees.

since sum of interior angles in a triangle = 180,
20+X+4X=20+5X=180
5X=160
X=32 degrees.

Do you mean in a circle or in a triangle? 20+4(20)=20+80=100. A triangle has 180, and 180-100=80. A circle has 360, and 360-100=260. As you see, the third angle in a triangle is 80 degrees, and the third angle in a circle is 260 degrees.

20 = The angle we know
x = The third angle
4x = The second angle
20+x+4x = 180 degrees
20+5x = 180 degrees
5x=180 - 20 = 160 degrees
x=160/5=32 degrees (the third angle is 32 degrees)
4 X 32 = 128 degrees (the second angle is 98 degrees)
(To prove the result: 20 + 32 + 128 = 180 degrees)

Total of all angles in a triangle equals 180 degrees
assuming that a, b, c are each angle of triangle
a+b+c=180
in your question one angle is 20, lets say a=20
also in you question the second angle is four times the third angle
lets assume second angle is b and third angle is c
that makes 4b=c
substitue the above in
a+b+c=180
20+b+4b=180 (as a=20, and c=4b)
20+5b=180
5b=180-20
5b=160
b=160/5
b=32
thats your answere

a=20 b=4c a+b+c=180 (its a triangle rite?) 20+b+c=180
b+c=160
b=4c
b/4=c
120/4=30 120+30+20 =170 sO THATS NOT IT
124/4=31 124+31+20 = 175 so thats not it
128/4= 32 128+32+20 = 180 ******ding ding ding******!!!!!
3angle(there) ^ =s 32

68 degrees. 360 minus 20 equals 340. 340 divided by 5 equals 68. (divide by 5 because 4&1 equals 5)
