I am 7 weeks and very light blood appeared after using the bathroom and wiping. I just had sex this morning and before today I didn't notice ANY spotting whatsoever. Is this attributed to sex or am I having a miscarriage. I had one miscarriage before 4 years ago. This is my second pregnancy.

This happened to me to and after going to the dr he said that it wasn't a problem. It could be from having sex or it could also be implantion. I was always told that implantion happened earlier than 7 weeks but the dr told me that that's what had caused my spotting. He did say though that anytime there was spotting that I needed to call him. So you might call your dr just in case but sounds like what I went through. Congrats on the pregnancy and good luck!

Didn't you have cramping with your miscarriage? Spotting is normal and can happen anytime during your pregnancy. When I was pregnant, I had spotting after 2 months. If freaked us both out, so we rushed to the labor unit where they examined me. When the nurse found out I had been crying, she told me to relax because this was perfectly normal. Cramping and blood tends to be the signs for miscarriage. May I suggest iVillage health message boards? They probably have one from pregnancy after miscarriage where there are lots of women who are going through the same sort of thing--and all the fear of losing the pregnancy again. I think it might help calm your fears a bit. Good luck!

I highly doubt it. Your vaginal capillaries are close to the surface and jolting those causes a little break sometimes thats all. Dont stop having sex just because of that because it wont make any difference. A normal foetus will cling on despite almost anything you do.

Although it causes great angst to a parent.....miscarriages are the bodies protective way of expelling foetuses that are not going to grow normally and wouldnt be properly formed or viable if they went to term (unless stress or accidents happen to the mother).

I would say try to stay calm because stress can contribute to bleeding or even cause miscarriages. With that in mind go to the local hospital/clinic/gyn and get a professional diagnosis right away. It might be nothing so unusual, so calm down and find out from an expert right away.

The blood could be from having sex but if you miscarried before I would make an appt with your Dr. just to be on the safe side. Are you having any cramping, is the blood a dark color or light color? Good luck and i'll keep you and your baby in my thoughts and prayers.......God Bless

some spotting is normal during pregnancy; however, since you've had a miscarriage in the past, I would put a call into your doctor

I would definately check with a doctor as soon as possible. Any bleeding during pregnancy is not good. In the mean time, get as much rest as you can, and elevate your feet if you can't lie down.

And breathe.

Good luck to you, I really hope everything turns out ok.

You may not be having a miscarriage, but you need to see a DR asap, at least to give you peace of mind.
